Join us at our 2nd Annual Free Houston OCD Conference on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 12:30pm-7:30pm at the Council on Recovery. Professionals, OCD/Mental Health Sufferers, and Caregivers are encouraged to attend one or both sessions. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Please complete the registration form below. OCD 101 Training*:

12:30pm-3:30pm – OCD 101 Training*: Opportunity for professionals to learn about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), types of OCD, related disorders, symptoms, diagnoses, treatment options, stigma, OCD cycle and relapse prevention. Although anyone can attend this training, the focus of the training will be for professionals, counselors, and teachers.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Define Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
  2. Recognize symptoms
  3. Define treatment methods
  4. Ability to locate and access to further OCD resources for working with this population

*3.0 Continuing Education (CE) credit available to social workers, psychologist and counselors. Please pre-register to receive CE credit by filling out the Continuing Education form at the bottom of the page. There is no charge to attend or to receive credit.
