BATON ROUGE OCD CONFERENCE

Join us at our Free Baton Rouge OCD Conference on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 9am-5pm at the Crowne Plaza. Professionals, OCD/Mental Health Sufferers, and Caregivers are encouraged to attend one or both sessions. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Please complete the registration form below. OCD 101 Training:
9am-12pm – OCD 101 Training*: Opportunity for professionals to learn about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), types of OCD, related disorders, symptoms, diagnoses, treatment options, stigma, OCD cycle and relapse prevention. Although anyone can attend this training, the focus of the training will be for professionals, counselors, and teachers.
Learning Objectives:
- Define Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
- Recognize symptoms
- Define treatment methods
- Ability to locate and access to further OCD resources for working with this population
12pm-1pm – Lunch on Own, light snacks and refreshments will be available throughout the conference
