Brenda Love — Founder and President of Love Advertising
Since opening in 1979 with a startup capital of $500, Brenda Love has grown Love Advertising to become one of the largest advertising agencies in Houston, with annual billings in excess of $35 million. Theagency has developed an impressive list of local and regional clients including Gallery Furniture, Papa John’s Pizza, CenterPoint Energy, Full Name (CRI), Susan G. Komen Foundation, Celltex Therapeutics Corporation, among others spanning across a diverse mix of industries. Love Advertising’s success, as well as Brenda’s respected reputation within the Texas business community, results directly from her dedication to hard work, strong ethics and a commitment to providing her clients with the best all-around advertising and public relations services possible. Brenda was inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s Southwest Advertising Hall of Fame in 2015, was awarded the 2016 Silver StarAward from the Houston Media Alliance for lifetime achievement and took home the 2015 Agency Principal of the Year. A native Houstonian, she has a degree in journalism from Sam Houston State University and received the Outstanding Alumni Award for 2012. Additionally, she is a summa cum laude graduate from San Diego State University with a master’s degree in advertising and public relations. Brenda has served as the chairman of the Executive Board of Directors of the Houston Better Business Bureau, Cancer Counseling Board of Directors and serves on the Peace of Mind Board, National Advisory Board of the Chuck Norris KickStart Kids Program, Memorial Hermann FoundationBoard of Directors and the Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center Advisory Council.
